The tremedously talented docophoto just posted a splendid shot with a little tiny cameo of herself in a mirror in the background of the photo and it just looked so good….. and it put me in mind of a shot I had taken some time ago in the ladies loo at Circular Quay in Sydney… so what ever else you do today everybody….please don’t forget your valuable…....:) / . /

Everything about this photograph was planned out and placed accordingly, even the glass – to show that the streaking was a real capture and not some product of any photo editing. I thought that it would take several attempts to accomplish this effect, but the subject followed my instructions very well and I got it on the first try! These bursts of yellow were found at the lake at Alfred Nicholas Gardens, the Dandenongs, Victoria, Australia, in autumn. This is not an hdr shot. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera, tripod and 18-55 mm lens. This shot was featured in the ‘All Countries – Wetlands, Ponds, Lakes and Rivers’ and the ‘Survivors and Friends’ Group.
