Originally the sky was pale blue and the wall was pink, so I did some colour editting here and also tried to give it this faded look, like it was taken with a toy camera. I’m a big lomo fan, though I’ve never had one myself. Sold a print of this. Thanks to the anonymous buyer :)

I imagine that the world must look pretty huge and intimidating when you are a tiny newly hatched anole (lizard). In fact the world probably looks pretty big and intimidating to most of us as well, and rightly so. But look on the bright side: the bigger our world, the more things there are to do, places there are to explore, and friends there are to make. :) This shot was taken in Gainesville, Florida, at Payne’s Prairie State Preserve. 100% of the profits from the sale of my work featuring reptiles will be donated to Wildlife Warriors Worldwide in honor of Steve Irwin who educated the world about these amazing creatures.

The rock is sacred to the local Anunga Aborigines. Ayers Rock is the popular English designation (named after Sir Henry Ayers, a 19th century Australian governor). However, the rock’s official appellation is Uluru, the one given by the Anunga Aborigines. dinner out in the desert, watching the full moon rise Digital photography / Composition of three images

This door detail was photographed in Avanos, a small town in the Cappadocia region of central Turkey. The bright colors and old wood of houses and doors in these small towns are often beautiful and always intriguing. The splintered wood, tooled brass lock and handle, and encroaching shadow give this piece a sense of mystery for me.

In this painting I have endeavored to reduce the landscape down to its absolute minimum, focusing purely on the line of salt-bush on the horizon, with one solitary bird hovering in the air, to give the impression of the raw empty heat of a mid day summer where nothing stirs until l the cool of the evening. . .
