Ming Tees is spring cleaning out designs, lots of overhauls and new colors for some. Awhile ago i did a t shirt using this Japanese style crest lotus design with orchid flowers. But i’m not really happy with with that one, and this sort of style and composition is more what i had in mind. So bye to the orchids, and still trying for a surf /t ropical sort of feel, with plumeria, or frangipani, instead.

Green version of Ming Tees’ bestselling Bamboo Kamon design. Sort of for Earth Day, sort of so there’s a version availiable for dark t shirts, and sort of as a test for a forthcoming project. Bamboo design inspired by Japanese Kamon (family crest) designs.

OK, this one got way overdone. Gotta get simpler quick. But the old lotus medallion alone was up for a redo. This design inspired by a few different Chinese tapestries. Lotus medallion, funky peony and lotus flowers, leaves, and my beloved bats.
