A photograph of the foyer of the Milwaukee Art Museum. I was so fortunate to be there early enough on a bright sunny day before people crowded out this view. The architecture of this building is simply stunning. If you have never been, you should visit sometime. The building was built to resemble a seagull landing on Lake Michigan and it even has “wings” that flap everyday at noon. Its quite a site. Walking about Milwaukee as I don’t have my family here with me on assignment, I found the big lake beginning to freeze. I loved the play of light and shadow with the mixture of ice and water at dusk.
