Millstream Falls in the Tablelands, Far North Queensland, one of the widest waterfalls in Australia. Given its size, I felt that focusing on a part of the whole would make for a very different picture.

The Millstream Brook in Oxford. The water is always a greenish hue, but in the summer in the sunshine the water appears an even more intense green with the reflections of the Willow trees in the water
This lovely waterfall is the widest waterfall in Australia! Doesn’t compare to Niagra Falls I know but spectacular none the less after a good rain. It runs through the beginning of the dry savannah land that heads out to the Gulf (of Carpentaria) from Ravenshoe, North Queensland, Australia. / I have given this an artwork treatment to look like a landscape painting, I hope you like the effect, I thought it turned out rather lovely. / This area truly is a magical place and I visited it just to take this photo because I love going there so much. You can actually walk around the back of the waterfall where it is all relatively flat. / This image is best viewed in LARGE. This makes a wonderful card and I have this printed out, ready for sale in my local town. / Millstream Falls, Kennedy Highway, Ravenshoe, Nth Queensland, Australia. I use a Canon Powershot A480 10mp on super macro. / /

My daughter Alex, 10, actually took this photo but it was better than any of mine :O) Ravenshoe, Far Nth Queensland, Australia
