  • Acrylic on canvas 40×120cm

  • This is a pencil portrait using the following reference: http://claireprob.deviantart.com/art/Milly-in-B-W-58041522 I used graphite pencils 8B – 2H, cotton swabs & balls and tortillions for blending. It’s on Bristol board with a vellum finish.

  • I’ve been meaning to do this montage for a while. George (the redish big fat biffa boy) and Millie (the “I don’t think about where I’m going to land” girl) have so much energy and are such athletic cats that we end up having to do this pretty much everyday to get rid of some of their energy. As I hope you’ll see, getting a good shot can be pretty random, but if you focus at the rough height they can jump to, you eventually can get lucky.

  • Wacom Tablet drawn in PhotoStudio

  • Model – Millie Claire / MUA – Cloe Bunter of Makeup by Cloe Pentacon Six TL + Kodak Portra 160VC / I won’t show the digital versions, seems to have caused a little friction on dA ;) Needless to say if you’re familiar with the original Snow White text, you might just know what this is about :D Melbourne’s Parklands have very photogenic footpaths. I believe this was shot in the Queen Vic Park… I dunno, it was hot and there were a LOT of parks. Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

  • Photo/Model/MUA/Styling: Me It’s okay in the day I’m staying busy / Tied up enough so I don’t have to wonder where is he / Got so sick of crying / So just lately / When I catch myself I do a 180 / I stay up clean the house / At least I’m not drinking / Run around just so I don’t have to think about thinking / That silent sense of content / That everyone gets / Just disappears soon as the sun sets This face in my dreams seizes my guts / He floods me with dread / Soaked in soul / He swims in my eyes by the bed / Pour myself over him / Moon spilling in / And I wake up alone If I was my heart / I’d rather be restless / The second I stop the sleep catches up and I’m breathless / This ache in my chest / As my day is done now / The dark covers me and I cannot run now / My blood running cold / I stand before him / It’s all I can do to assure him / When he comes to me / I drip for him tonight / Drowning in me we bathe under blue light His face in my dreams seizes my guts / He floods me with dread / Soaked in soul / He swims in my eyes by the bed / Pour myself over him / Moon spilling in / And I wake up alone / And I wake up alone / And I wake up alone / And I wake up alone

  • Oil painting. This is for Millie my daughter. Millie has autism and has from a young age enjoyed a bounce. She bounces on her moon hopper while bouncing on the trampoline at the same time! With her red hair and the static it’s quite a sight.

  • Millie is only six weeks old, but already very curious about the world around her!

  • What is it about Milly? Sometimes there’s something about someone that you know is special. You can’t put your finger on it. The gender doesn’t matter. Sometimes the age doesn’t matter. “What is it about Milly?” explores the wonder of that indescribable “something”. Special thanks to stock provider milly-stock, for the model and inspiration for the title. Digital Fine Art by F.A.
