Sign photographed in the basement area of the derelict Cellulose Paper Mill at Snuggery near Millicent South Australia. “Broke” was the material at the ends of the pulp making process that would break off and fall to the floor below, thus the warning sign….Maybe a warning of the state of the Economy?

A perfect circle, created by the small grass stem being blown in circles by the wind, Canunda National Park, Millicent. The dunes in this location are covered in these small creations of nature, all perfect and amazing to see.
Another set of emu tracks heading through the dunes, Canunda National Park, Millicent, South Australia. A pristine area where these birds roam free leaving just their footprints.
Late morning sky – Millicent to Kingston along Princes Highway. Huge swirling clouds dominated the sky and made for an amazing sight.
A powerful and bold sky above the old section of the Millicent Cemetery. The work and effort put into the headstones in these days is a testament to the love, honour and memories of those passed and those left behind. Canon 400D, 3 shot HDR, converted in Photomatix and tones altered in Photoshop.
The clowns still managed to laugh, even in todays Economic troublesome Times. Clowns at the Millicent Show today….a vibrant and ever reminding piece of my childhood….loved playing these at the Victor Harbor Foreshore every Christmas as a young lad.
Every Rainbow has a pot of gold at it’s end. As the storm passed the rainbow came out and lined up nicely on this small building left standing in paddocks between Millicent and Kingston in the South East, (Limestone Coast) region of South Australia. Canon 400D 18-55 with CIR Polarising filter.
Shot from a loft view within the Old Cellulose Factory near Millicent in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. It was as if the machinery had been swallowed up and buried in situ when they closed this magnificent old factory. Found this wonderful old unoccupied building at Rendelsham, (between Millicent and Beachport) in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. Bright bold peeling red paint on the front door, offset by small flute corrugated iron walls. Surrounded by old rusted out cars, tins and a range of heritage items this place stands as a wonderful reminder of times past. Canon 400D 18-55 lens.
