Trying something a little different with this shot. Taken at night but modified by increasing the exposure values by a lot. Creates an interesting effect. I also took a Panoramic of the Millennium Bridge and the Quayside. See what you think. Birds Of Prey Christmas Cards Night Scenes Landscape / Scenic

Millennium Bridge and St Paul’s.
Taken lying on the floor with the lens of the camera sticking through a hole in some wire mesh on a fence. I was forced into looking a bit crazy because I didn’t have my tripod with me.

The Newcastle and Gateshead Millennium Bridge (UK) with The Sage Music venue and The Tyne Bridge in the background. / This was one of a series of pics I took on first night shoot, I’d only had the camera a week or so and I’m really, really pleased with how this has turned out. When humanity went out into the vastness of space and found new civilizations, the one thing they were looking for but never found. / That was futuristic cities. After a few hundred years they had kinda lost hope, but then they discovered the worlds of the Imperium. / Every city this race builds is built for color and design, they love water, and light, and towers that seem to touch the stars. Humans come here and spend all their time looking at the cities that earthly authors and artists told them about for thousands of years.

Cloud Gate also called “The Bean” is located in Millennium Park and is a 3 story 110-ton steel sculpture created by Anish Kapoor. Cloud Gate sits in the AT&T Plaza in Downtown Chicago, Illinois and was meant to resemble a drop of mercury hovering over the plaza. The mirror-like surface provides reflections of the city skyline and the sky. Featured 1/7/08 in the World group. Thank you hosts / Featured 4/10/09 in the Architecture and Cityscapes Photography. Taken on the River Tyne, Newcatle, U.K. ‘This is Wher’e I’m at’ it is one of my favourite photos.
695 views as of 28th November 2009 This image was taken just after the first I posted and you can now see the ship a little clearer but still silhouetted against the fast rising sun. We all stood in awe watching this scene and wondering what this ship would look like as it then disappeared behind Nobby’s Lighthouse and reappeared on the other side of the breakwall before coming into harbour … wait for more!! / / /
MILLENIUM BRIDGE IN LONDON i love this piece because of the light play with the dark bridge overhead and the golden tones of the buildings. very happy with this long exposure shot / B IS FOR BRIDGE
An uncharacteristically normal shot for me, not a bit of peeling paint or broken window in sight! Taken on a recent wander along the river, this is Newcastle / Gateshead’s Millennium Bridge, known locally to a lot as the blinking eye bridge. The entire structure rotates through 40 degrees when pushed by the three hydraulic rams at each edge, lifting the coloured archway you see here and the walkway slung from it high into the air to allow ships to pass underneath.
Another non-dereliction picture from me, dont worry, normal service will be resumed soon :P A picture of arguably the three most famous bridges that span the tyne, namely the Swing Bridge, Tyne Bridge and the Millennium Bridge, from front to back. Also on the right can be seen the top of the Sage, Gateshead, a world renowned concert hall and the Baltic Contemporary Art Gallery can be seen above the centre of the Swing Bridge.
THIS WAS TAKEN IN MILLENIUM PARK IN CHICAGO. SUCH AN INCREDIBLE REFLECTIVE SURFACE OF A STUNNING CITY / IT WAS ABOUT 8 AM ON A WET AND WINDY DAY, THAT IS WHY I CHOSE THE SOFT OLD TIME TONES TO GIVE IT SOME LIFE /
THIS WAS TAKEN IN MILLENNIUM PARK IN CHICAGO IN THE REFLECTIVE POOL. THE REFLECTIONS WERE SO CLEAR, DESPITE THE WEATHER BEING GREY AND OVERCAST! I LOVE HOW IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY YOU CAN SEE THAT THE WATER IS ONLY A COUPLE OF INCHES DEEP AND YOU CAN SEE THE GROUND THROUGH IT
