This is a young female Osprey she has caught a Longtom. Her talon is straight through the fish which is biting her leg. The blood on her other leg is from the fish changing his grip. I was taking pictures of turtles surfacing when I heard the Ospreys cries above me Best viewed LARGE. Canon 5D MII I think this is inspiring, one minute the fish was swimming in the calm waters next he was fighting for his life and fight he did! It is a lesson in resilience!
