I went to the lake very early in the morning ,it was pretty cold but it was worth it ,it looks like the trees were in fire.Oh! NO SATURATION ,this was exactly that color.With saturation we would see some blue tint and we don’t .I could’nt beleive it myself. / PANASONIC FZ20 / 55.6 MM-—-1/60 SEC-—-F 2.8-——ISO 100 / Maxhamish(who’s no longer in RB bought a small frame print 4 months ago. / Weberwanjek,a bubbler,bought a mounted print the 11/09/08

UNTOUCHED…JUST A YELLOW FILTER ADDED. / This was takeen at Lake L’Achigan,St-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada / I was comming back from breakfast in the village where I live when I saw this scene ,I stoped ,couldn’t beleive that I wasn’t able to see on the other side of the lake.Heavy fog and soft light gave me the opportunity to do this image,I just love it ,makes me think of an old painting.If you look carefully ,you will see the other side’s shadow.The reflection was great because there were no fog in front of me just on the other side.A very foggy sunrise it was.When I did this shot it thought about «Water world» and how our the planet is beautiful even with a little piece of land. / / / /

A little pond near my home.The water was beginning to freeze,for me this scene shows the immobility we feel between two seasons.I have several shot of that pond,it’s a quiet place,I often go there just to be with myself and listen to the sound of nature.

The making of that image is so simple,with Picasa I put the two pics together,one of a macro shot of bark without cropping and a portrait of my boyfriend listenning to his friends sitting at the patio table.I darked arround a little and that’s it.I didn’t have to do ajustment for the eye and the ear,it’s like the two pics were meant to fit together… :))) / I sold a matted print on the 29 th of november 08 to an unknown bubbler and that image was edited in the book “Gaïa the living planet” Same processing as Torn / When I did that image I thought about how menkind should be more united with the earth ,to feel renewed by the the contact of nature to become a better individuaL,TO BECOME A FREE THINKER.As long as we are trying to control the earth nothing good will come out of it,I often thought that we should be more like trees who are the lungs of our beautiful planet. / My friend C.C Arshagra wrote a wonderful poem inspired by this image,C.C realy understood what I felt when I named that piece. / That poem is called The Free Thinker would.. /

Hello ! Everybody I was surprised by the great responding of that picture ,that’s why i came back for more explanations.It’s true that i live in a place where nature is the queen .I’m surrounding by lakes ,trees and mountains,my friend Michel is always talking about moving but i want to die here.I’ve been creating a garden for four years now,getting pretty.No neighbors in front ,in the back only on both sides and i never see them .The only bug ,no sunsets and sunrises,i have to take the car ….big thing …. / there a preserve aria belonging to the «Université de Montreal» that means no constructions for many,many yearsThe place i took that pic.is two minutes from my house.The many comments i had made me realise how lucky i am to live in a place like that .THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. This composite was made specialy for a the “chaos” challenge last year.I just let myself go and tried something different from what I use to do.I had a old picture from my trip in France when I went skiing in the Alps.The black stain at the left is,in fact,a restaurant at the “Trois Vallées” resort and you also can see the skier’s traces on the snow…. :)) I did a double layer with a shot of the moon taken with my Panasonic FZ-20…some coloring “et voilà”.....just for fun….

This is my grand-daughter Angelica…Same processing as The Free Thinker edited in “Gaïa…The living planet book” / I was amazed by the result,I thought it realy looked like an ancient painting. / A long time ago , they use to capture a moment in paintings.When I did that layer I had the impression to had captured the beautiful face of my Angelica forever.C.C Arshagra wrote a poem for me that realy represent that image,when I read it,I cried like a baby.I was realy touched. / I did another image later with the same processing called The free thinker / / / / /

One of my first double layers with Picasa,an experience I’ve tried,the moon is much to big but I liked the spooky mood…... :))....2 photos,a moon and a foggy night.The tittle came to me thinking about «Moonstruck» the movie with Sher when the old italian couple were looking outside the window by full moon .They were so much in love and it was so touching… /

We all know that the sun and the moon will never met being on opposite position but what if….. / A double layers. / Friends at last ,they meet on the cosy clouds and stay friends forever. / This idea came to me from a song that my mother used to sing when I was young about a rendez-vous between the moon and the sun that never happenned because the two of them were always waiting for one another.Charles Trenet,my mom’s idole was singing that song… / «Le soleil a rendez-vous avec la lune mais la lune n’est pas là et le soleil l’attend »A wonderful card to say that nothing is impossible when you’re in love. / / / / /

I took this picture near the beach where I took my waterscapes «Fog and fire»«liquid diamonds»«fire and ice »«land of fire»while going on the other part of the camp at the other beach.It was very foggy as you can see and the scene was realy magic .The same morning I took« Mirage» and «HEADLAND» but those where taken at the other part of the lake.That’s why I have so many picture with fog.Every time fog is there I ‘m out and very early of course ,it’s so quiet and magic .Walking in the woods is a real passion …but that you already know….inspired from the movie /

This picture was taken on a golf place,it’s on a top of a mountain,very impressive to walk over there.That’s the reason for the sharp line.I put a crescent of a moon and add a little bit of blue…et voilà. We can feel alone but being part of nature is the key for happiness , an invidual renewed by all the beautiful thinks arround us . / / /
