  • micks landing
    by AlienVisitor

    US$5.98–US$136.80

In the constellation Centaurus,at the very edge of the Rosette Nebula, lies a small system of 3 planetoids,Rye,Xarnda and Micks Landing. / At the very end of the 2000 year war,a battle took place in this system and was one of the most destructive ever fought. / The Hive were pulling back to there home world but had to take one last stab at us. / The small astroid Saviours Moon which had being made into a battlestar took the worst of the destruction, and can still be seen in low orbit above Micks Landing, course all we really see now is the shell,a grim reminder of the final conflict and the thousands of lives lost. Now we come to the landing, and the reason why they changed this worlds name to Micks Landing. / Mick was the commander of a squadron of 30 stealth fighters, they tried to take out as many of the Hive ships as possible, but the numbers against them were really too great. / So after the battlestar Saviours Moon was lost the order went out to return to the Battle Platform Tootgarook, even as they landed in the hangers,a number of Hive plasma bombs impacted on part of the flight deck. / After what seemed like days but was only hours it was found the platform had slipped into the atmosphere, and would crash on the planets surface. / Mick was about the only pilot who might be able to at least try to get it to miss any major populated areas. / Using all the skill and a lot of praying,he brought the platform down and crash landed it on this cape on the shores of the Amonias Sea. / Mick was given the Order of the Blue Dragon and of course is very own planet. And above in space the cavalry had arrived in the form of Alliance Starcruisers. .............An excerpt from volume 18 of ” The Travels of Zorind Rakkmnn ”. This is a collaboration between mick and I,under “Get Your Own Planet” I used micks image “Cape Shank”
