I took this photo in mexico while watching a “palenque de gallos”, a tough fight between roosters. Each rooster is worse thousands of dollars, they compete with a sharp blade attached to their ancle, sometimes the fight only last for 5 seconds. The ambiance around the ring is intense, masculine and weird, very special experience. Aweful thing I know, but part of the Mexican tradition. / Check out my other tees too! / /

Lucha Libre (which translates literally as Free Wrestling or Free Fighting) is a term used in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking areas to refer to all forms of professional wrestling. This little guy is based on The Blue Demon, a late master of the genre.

I had planned on finishing my super top secret squirell tee that actually had meaning and valid social comment but my mind walked off on me and left me to have a cup of tea with Sanchez and Gavin. Sadly, they were out of tequila too (Gavin gets into the bottle all the time and isn’t very good at sharing) Can some one give me a hand with deciding WTF to do with Sanchez’s body? He looks like an anorexic teddy bear. Early days. Just you wait till I get my hands on a cracked copy of Illustrator and finally master the pen tool. I’ll be like He-Man on Greyskull waving it about like a bodybuilder in a furry nappy.
