“Creativity” talks with Metronomad! / How does being a creative person and pursuing your creativity affect other aspects of your life? / Coming from humble beginnings in a small province of Palawan , one naturally learns to devise things that help live life a bit easier. I eventually learned early in my life to discover the many uses of simple things that we normally just take for granted. My father was our small town photographer. I have watched him processing his films and it eventually got me fascinated with the pictures coming out of the paper immersed in water. Anyhow, I had fun tinkering with his camera then. I didn’t know that it somehow would affect my creative life later on. I still remember the time I was so proud showing my father a drawing I did of a little prince when I was about 6 years old. (and I can read already by then, my family made sure that we do). He was all praises. I think that is one of many reasons that sustained my early creative life. Creativity affects my daily life. It’s the energy that springs from the roots of my being. It’s not just about creating nifty little pictures or illustrations but most esp. the art of going through life. The creative impulse is there. But surely, there are times when one feel drained of all this hullabaloo of everyday living. That is called living. The same creativity helps one see things with a different eye. Tell us about one person or moment that has made your time on redbubble particularly special or meaningful / There are many creative people on RB that truly makes this exprience really beautiful. But I have to mention one for the time being. I’ve known Michael from other photosharing sites. He’s the one directed me to Redbubble, and for that, i’m very grateful. It took me a while to sign up for redbubble, I thought it’s just another photosharing site. He was my first contact here when I signed up and he is also the very first Redbubbler i’ve met in person. I should mention the fact that Redbubble is the best creative platform i’ve ever been with. Redbubble, I hope our love-affair will last. ;) Show & tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you / I cannot mention only five. Maybe by taking a look at my favorite artworks (the ones i’ve discovered so far) you will see the variety of works that inspire me.
