  • .HOMECOMING A. Jill Gaebel / When darkness softly kisses my lids / And the silence of eternity caresses my ears, / When gravity no longer pulls at my shoulders / And hungers no longer drive me forward, / I will know that I have come full circle. When my eyes are no longer stung by joy or pain / And life’s sorrows have lost consequence, / When right and wrong become one / And time and space no longer exist / I will know that I have arrived from whence I came.

  • A metaphysical brain, my own in fact and this is the hardware. I’ve been trying for years to do the software from bits and pieces of dreams and stuff and when I do something good I’ll be sure to upload it. / I can take the technical drawing background off by request but I like it better this way. Its more odd. / I wanted to do it higher resolution but the computer was having a tough time with all the refraction and particles. Two 2.2 cores maxed out and 2.4Gb of a page file while this was rendering, for about an hour. I need a twin quad core server. / Honestly though I had about fourteen tabs open on browsers and music or streaming video on at the same time. If my computer got the same care and attention from me that my brain does it’d be very lucky. Ah sure if it breaks I’ll just build another one. Image copyright © 2008 Simon Deevy. • A Jungian mandala print from one of my canvas originals. The centre butterflies symbolize the soul growing and transforming and protected by unicorns (symbolizing magic, innocence and myth). Guardian angels watch over the transformation night and day. This is just one of my many mandalas. They are created from meditation and often paint themselves – I just wield the brush! The mandala is a tool for growth and spiritual connection and I am pleased to offer my first image :) All images are fully copyrighted, all rights reserved. Bright Blessings / Marg

  • ORIGINAL $300 plus postage and handling This mandala was created after a big breathwork meditation in which I felt the spirits of my grandmothers and greatgrandmothers all the way back to prehistory reach out to me. It was a time of crisis for me and to feel the essence of my maternal history with me, I was able to pass through and come out the other side relatively whole. The mandala symbolizes the presence of my foremothers all the way back to prehistory. The horses symbolize power and freedom. The all seeing eye is open to the wisdom of the past and the challenges and opportunities of the future. The colours are the colours of the earth, the sky, the wind and the rain. It is a powerful meditation tool linking my present with my past. Enjoy:) From the original acrylic on canvas, 20 inch x 20 inch All images are fully copyrighted, all rights reserved. • acrylic on paper 14”x17” / Dancing in lighted pools of Jello-textured neon. “That’s the way to do it,” an old stranger called to the young man who, being suddenly aware of what he was doing, stopped, looked over his shoulder and glanced down at the ragged multi-colored sheet that was pulled tightly around his shoulders. He leaned back and peered up at the sun. Smoke rose from the side of a brick building and the odor or ginger floated through the air. The source of both puzzled him, as he remembered distinctly thinking he was the only person in the world just a few moments before. The old man smiled a toothless smear of flabby lips and bowed down to the dancing youth, who smiled back, jiggled aimlessly for a few seconds on thin, scratched legs and then sat down on a patch of grass in from of a building that had been painted by clowns. The young man pulled back the corner of his gown of rainbow hues and let out his heart, which had been beating all along, but in being freed, started to do a dance all of its own, though it had no legs. It also sang, which surprised the young man as he had always thought he was mute.

  • A fanciful depiction of the psyche of a Replicant, which has the form of a human, yet the soul of blasphemous creation, a Golem, a Frankenstein, a tormented being, anxious and deranged, knowing its time is short and its end inevitable. The spider patterning exudes the replicant’s un-empathic nature, the thing that separates them from humans. If you haven’t, check out Philip K. Dick’s Novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. It is brilliant. See also:

  • images that change into other images then change again. There are over 50 images in this painting and I think you can see most of them. / look to the left going up the mountain you’ll see a man looking toward you with a beard, it changes into a man’s head upside down his hair becomes the beard, the chin turns into a gorilla face. it turns into a profile of a face looking to the left which turns into a cougar looking at you (right to left of all that, in the dark area might be to dark in this will get a higher res Pic up) / See the large ghostly wolfs head above the birds neck? it goes on and on.

  • For most people life is a journey through endless polarities. Good cannot exist without evil; happiness without sadness; wrong without right. As long as one remains within such realm of duality one is always surrounded by opposites and has to choose one over the other. Every choice made is a step in one of two directions. Every step taken leads to a new choice to be made…

  • Seated yoga, in extra dimensions.

  • This particular kind of apple tree grows on the foothills of the Stanovoy mountains, Eastern Russia. These trees have the remarkable characteristic of dropping all their fruit simultaneously. When this happens, it marks the start of the harvest season for the local Yakut people. This image shows a detail. oil on canvas / 120×80 cm / original sold

  • There was a rush of blue time that lingered against the color of seemingly empty moments. A gust of wind unfurled the flag of your being into movement. Waves of swirling puddles against light. Movement without form. Yet full and heavy and melting and glowing. The ebb and flow of internal charges. The slow gliding of stars with laundry and angels with highways and measurement with eternity’s hand-held presence. And a face popped into the blowing casual seep of wounds healing and brick walls becoming liquid. I didn’t know the face, though it was familiar. I felt as if I had always know it. Forever behind the edifice of the known. Always behind the veil of awareness. The face of angels finally being met. Though I had always used their helping hands. I shook my hands and they were gone. But never gone. Meeting Angels on Wind is 22”x28” acrylic, gesso and India ink on poster paper

  • 22×28 acrylic on canvas I listened to a lot the Iron and Wine while painting this one. I think it kind of took on the vibration of the music. / For more on the symbolism and my thoughts behind this one please vist my blog
