Another experiment with metallic blue paper as a background and the flash on my camera… haha, I guess it worked well. I never use my flash, so that’s why this is so experimental, hehe. It’s also the stamen of a hibiscus.

The Gyoto Monks of Tibet are an often seen sight at many cultural events in the Byron Bay region. Seen here laughing, this particular monk escaped Tibet into India 50 years ago with His Holiness, The Dali Lama. His trademark expression and enjoying tea and biscuit, the joke is enjoyed by all at the table.

Gather what you will from this.. but yes, I did intend for this to look like magical sperm. Haha, it just sort of happened when I was staring at a light bulb and noticed the little spring inside… so I knew I had to do something with that. :D

Photographic P/S based digital composite by Ange 2008. Collaboration series. Model: digital shot by Sjodahl & Richardson – Creative Photography 2008/Ingrid on RB. Like many of our KvB graduating students pursuing fab photographic/design careers in the last 8yrs – proud of duo, SR Creative Photo… I combined model with background (sourced) retouched both – adjusting perspective & background elements. I added chains into the models hands extending & fading into the back with further added misty effects. I retouched/airbrushed face & body – slightly slimmed arms for more of an angular look & slimmed down leg bent outwards. Added shadows overall, curve & level adjustment. Model Britt (Chadwicks), Make up by miss rubyrouge, Hair by Lyndall Vile ( x-lox), Clothes by Masterslave. Original shot below.
