The writing is on the wall – if you can see it, you can’t read it. I passed this sculpture so many times. You have to. It is made of stainless steel and placed in one of the busiest Wellington streets, in the perfect position to capture the colorful lights of the city after daylight, the nightglow of the capital. The ‘Invisible City’, as it’s called, is the gigantic panel of Braille text that highlights the communication gap between those who can’t see and the rest of us. The post is designed to remember all the folks, my countrymen and yours, the often invisible part of society, all those who finish schools, who work, play music, do sports, pay taxes, have and raise children, to the benefit of us all.

This is Bucki, i have named him that because of the obvious. / This is a young male who wondered into our property the other day and has adopted my trees in the back paddock with my mini horse Scotti. / i took loads of photos of him on the move from one tree to another with alot of very disappointing shots take, but in saying that i did get a couple, so enjoy them. / if you would like a card with an individual message, or no message just let me know. In the night you find illumination. Oh yes, the night is dark, but the world is still real for those who see with their intuitive side. / My dear sister Judi, as you learn to trust your clairvoyant nature, you learn that truth flows through you, much the same way silent OWL glides through the night. Honor this ability to serve CREATION…. My husband came in from outside, quite giddy with this discovery – a Great Horned Owl in one of our many Pine Trees surrounding the ponds that he was cleaning debris from. On the surface of the world right now there is / war and violence and things seem dark. / But calmly and quietly, at the same time, / something else is happening underground / An inner revolution is taking place / and certain individuals are being called to a higher light. / It is a silent revolution. / From the inside out. The heavy heart sinks to the bottom of the pool of existence, / oblivious to the beauty of the ripples it creates across the surface of time… Self-absorbed, such a burdened heart, drifts slowly downwards in darkness, unaware of the magic that occurs when its waves touch the shore and return, or intermingle with the ripples of others to create intricate patterns of light and colour. / In the downward spiral, the heavy heart remains blind to the sacred art of its passing where the circles of light extend ever outwards, revealing new directions it might have taken if it had only once let go and looked up… PLEASE view larger…

Over seven years ago, I became increasingly aware of the Earth changes and shifts in energy. Initially I tried to ignore them or find “logical” explanations as to what was happening, but eventually I was overwhelmed by what was happening on all levels around me. / Gradually I realized that it was the Earth herself who was trying to communicate with me.. / So I was compelled to take pen and paper and go and sit quietly in nature and ask “What is it you wish to tell me?” ...and this is what she said / ....... It has taken a long time for me to do this, but what was written back in 2003 has now been published in a book together with a collection of my images, and will be available for those who wish to read the message or honour the planet that we would be nothing without. This piece of art is to celebrate the publication of the book, Message From Mother Earth From the book….. “Do not be afraid. This is powerful awareness. But it is also useful and healing too. It teaches you that we can create the world we live in, by the power of our thoughts. You are seeing that your connection with every part of your life begins and ends within yourself, within your heart, within your true thoughts. You are part of this circle of life, this very web, this intricate design of cosmic energy. You are at the heart of it and from your heart comes the power to weave your own beautiful creation. It is within you to change, to heal, to create, and to simply BE. Do not overlook the importance of this knowledge. And do not overlook the magic. For if you can communicate with the planet you stand upon, and speak together from the heart, then nothing is impossible in heaven and earth! Believe it, and it shall be so. Disbelieve, and you hold only a hand full of dirt, and some air. I am real, and so are you, and we are connected.”
