My precious cat, kept trying to nudge her way into the shot, curious what her photog mommy was up to in the studio. I kept trying to get her out of the shot and finally got myself in the perfect pose and the timer went off. She defiantly came back into the shot and looked right into the camera and now i couldn’t imagine this image working without her. I decided to check on the butterflies again at the same time I was able to find them feeding on the zinnias yesterday morning. Like clockwork, one by one they all appeared. I still didn’t get one of the big orange lady… she didn’t even show up today…. but please bear with me, as I got 275 butterfly photos this morning and I would love to share a few with you… LavenderMoon~

Created from a photograph, a painting, several semi-transparent layers, and some photoshop techniques. This is my first artwork that really communicates my child-like fascination with life. I’ve been driving myself nuts trying to find a song that fits this piece. Turns out the perfect song is one I listen to every day. / Field Of Innocence by Evanescence. Multiverse, the largest and most complex light sculpture created by American artist Leo Villareal , may now be experienced by visitors as they pass through the Concourse walkway between the East and West Buildings of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. The work features approximately 41,000 computer-programmed LED nodes that run through channels along the entire 200-foot-long space. Mesmerizing it is, I could not pull myself away from this art.
