  • This sign has fascinated me for many years. For as long as I can remember, it has always been edited by members of the public to read ‘Footscrayzy’. Every now and then the council come along and clean it off or replace the sign – then within a few weeks it appears again. Usually it’s handwritten, but now it seems that stencilling is quicker and easier than hand scribing. Cnr Orford Road and Waverley Street, Essendon, VIC

  • So I know there’s gotta be other people out there excited about the release of the new Batman Movie The Dark Knight, or is it just me? This is a tribute to possibly one of my favourite movies! This is also one of my first really serious attempts at creating some digital artwork in Photoshop. This is the result of me having a lot of time, sitting at home sick when I should be at work. The question is can you see Batman?? For this I started off with one of my pics of Melbourne, Australia from Southbank which was a HDR from 3 exposures. I then added in bats, flood lights, batman, the moon etc. and then once again a lot of tinkering in Lightroom to finetune :) This image has had over 5000 views Sales 1 Mounted Print 1 Poster Click here for my other images of Melbourne

  • Many thanks to Paul Louis Villani for being so generous with his time to come and model for me. You’re a gentleman and a scholar. (he also is certainly not a bachelor, my apologies to his lovely wife Anna for cloning out his wedding ring!) Please make sure you view it LARGE.

  • The Shrine of Remembrance, located in St Kilda Road, Melbourne, is one of the largest war memorials in Australia, and resides in Kings Domain. It was built as a memorial to the men and women of Victoria who served in World War I. It now serves as a memorial for all Australians who served in war and it is the site of annual observances of ANZAC Day (25 April) and Remembrance Day (11 November). Designed by architects and veterans of World War I, Phillip Hudson and James Wardrop, the Shrine is designed in a classical style, being based on the Tomb of Mausolus at Halicarnassus and the Parthenon in Athens.
