old things are great to photograph
In the middle of the silver city, there’s still a past.
I loved old bike in the city. They have so much more character than the new bikes.
Taken on Little Lonsdale street…I think – this warehouse is actually for rent I later discovered.

Behind the old building in North Melbourne, Victoria the actual school was located. It was used way back in the 70s when there was a four year apprenticeship to learn the trade of printing. It hasn’t been used for over ten years and now with only a few weeks to go the four story building is being pulled down.

another decaying bit of nostalgia I found while meandering around the grounds of the Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne last week while I was visiting. / . / . /
another random shot taken at the beautiful Convent in Abbottsfield in Melbourne. The whole site is slowing being restored and converted and put to public use now that it is no longer a practicing Convent but lots of little bits of the original working building are there…. just waiting….. like here where I put my camera right up to the crack in a door and wondered what I’d get….. and this shot is it…. through the gap in the door is a beautiful space waiting to be tidyed up a it and brought back to life…... / . / . /
