Another image from my Ladybird meeting place near Mt Burr, Limestone Coast, South Australia. Many of you who have visited before would have seen a range of images from this secret little place where these ladybirds congregated in their thousands. Recently I reported they had all been killed by poison spray laid by Local Government. I have been back and they are just starting to regenerate now with only small bunches in their tens surviving but they seem to be making a slow comeback. This image, shot with a Canon 400D – sigma 100 – 300 macro, is an old image I have been wanting to post for some time. Hopefully we will see them back in their glory like this in years to come.
Other Tee’s / and more and more ! and even a few more !!! and some extra ones…

A shot taken on a misty morning. After the mist had almost all lifted I got this shot.Very diffused and the sea seems to morph with the sky. Nikon D200 14 secs @ F8 Featured in “All Water in Motion” / Thanks heaps guys.
This one is another digital oil painting. / It started as a photo of me and a baby deer that was having a bad day. Our Chihuahua named Gumby was outside barking like crazy early one morning, so I rushed outside expecting to find a snake about to eat him up! / Nope--this crazy little dog was running around a tiny fawn that I guess he had chased till it was confused and afraid. Old Gumby thought he was an Alpha Wolf (about a foot tall) and he had “taken down” his prey—he had a serious swagger and attitude problem going on after that! HAHAHA! I gently took the baby deer and cared for it till the wildlife people could come and rescue it. This photo was taken of me holding this very fawn. Then it happened--imagination! I saw that this could be an interesting twist on Rudolph and Santa. I had to change my huge Irish nose to a more rounded Santa nose—hope you like it. / LotsaLuv, / Dale
A Magical meeting deep in the misty woods by Moonlight
PAINTING / Original art signed by Dorina Costras / 80/80 cm / Acrylic +oil on canvas
It was in mid-April, the second day after I had bought the new Nikon D80 when the weather here provided a perfect sunrise morning with some mist. Nothing more quickly done in the morning than rushing with my bike towards the paradisical grounds of the country-house of Groeneveld near Baarn where I so often shoot. And I can tell you: it was worth it! Groeneveld, 12th April 2007, 7.30 am / Nikon D 80 with Nikkor 18-200 mm at 52 mm / F 9, 1/160, ISO 200

This is Chris’s sunset. She and I spent a magical hour watching the colours turn on my beautiful, pristine beach. And being as there is a crap movie on which the boys are watching, Chris is playing Nintendo so I don’t feel overly guilty being here for a little minute posting this to share with you all =)
Yeah…they’re going to a “meeting” all right. LOL / I took this in HYDE PARK in London. Yes, I followed them—but not all the way to the meeting, of course. ;) Ménage à trois definition: An arrangement comprising three people (not necessarily always of the same sex) in a sexual relationship. Alternatively, a sexual liaison between such a group of people. Origin This is a French term, literally a ‘household of three’, that has made its way into English. The meaning that applies to a one-off sexual liaison rather than a domestic arrangement is also known as a threesome.
