  • My rendition of Medusa. Each digital painting is derived from a photograph that I have taken myself. The photographs are my palette to create each computer generated painting. I like the viewer to take from each painting what they want..what they see..how it makes them feel. So I prefer to not disclose exact descriptions of each piece. Of course some are more simple and the title tells all. But do not let the title of my works distract you, as in many of my paintings, you may find more than what the title states.

  • January 2008 Digital painting Medusa is classified as a gorgon – meaning ‘female monster’ and is probably the most well known monster from Greek myth. She symbolizes the sexuality, intelligence and power of women. Both seductive and mysterious, she is temptation. Medusa’s eyes remain in shadow, giving us the chance to look upon her. • Wrath
    by bellmusker

How about some bones of bastards to sharpen your fangs on?

This is for a collaboration of Melbourne writers on the seven deadly sins. Wrath is without a doubt the main ‘sin’ I wrestle with, and has poisoned my life in many ways. Sometimes, the best antidote for that poison is humour. Forgive me for entwining the Greek and Roman pantheons…..how sinful, hey?
