  • The creative and the spiritual have always been important aspects in my life. I wanted to paint something that uplifted and inspired people. Something that would help evoke in people, certain feelings that could help unite them with intangible, spiritual realities. SO this painting came to be! It seems to help with those wanting to meditate. For those that are more visual, they can simply gaze softly at the image and contemplate it. / It helps bring calmness to the mind, bringing it into the present moment. The actual meaning of the picture is as follows: “Water represents the emotional body and the soul; it is a reflector and purifier, therefore the still water of the lilly pool symbolises a pure soul and stilled emotions – a clear reflector. The Lotus is an ancient and universal symbol held in veneration by / inner-brotherhoods of all time. It symbolised the birth and unfoldment of man’s Spiritual and Soul powers. The Lotus is also a symbol of Divine Love, which is the beginning of life and the power that rules the Universe. Where earthly love exists we see the reflection of the Divine.” I hope you Enjoy!
