I have winning socks, I also have managed to get about half of my film developed, the rest will hopefully follow this week, otherwise it’s too late because I will be back in the too-expensive-to-get-anything-developed world of London. I probably won’t scan any of it for ages. So here’s a big picture of everything just because I am quite excited. To interest those that care and to scare ‘Danny The Great Photographer’s Nemesis’ into avoiding his activity monitor for a while. They vaguely record slightly blurry moments in Norway, Germany, Ireland, Egypt, England, Jordan, Australia, Hong Kong, Poland, America, Holland and Belgium.

  • Whilst trying to get to grips with my medium format film camera i enlisted the help of a friend who had never had her portrait taken. Ultimately this worked to my advantage, whilst initially nervous i managed to engage her in conversation and within a very short timeframe we came up with some really nice shots.Really good practice. / bronica medium format etrs film camera 75 mm lens / f4 1/60th iso 100 / natural window light / epson 4490 scanner

  • I have been recording the existence of all the Leslie Green designed Underground Stations with my Holga, at least the ones that survive. Most are still in use, some are derelict like this one near Euston, a few have become restaurants, Cash Converters or car rental offices. And a few sadly no longer remain. Most of the shots are standard architectural record type things, and for my own personal amusement, but this was a bit different so I thought I’d stick it up.

  • I created this , as project that went complete veered left of what I intended I dint even start out to do an abstract but when I got this far into my thoughts, I realized I made a quilt for my neice Jenny.. you see these things are in her room, except for the painting there , which is a public domain painting. Jenny is an adult, and she has what is called severe handicaps. She doesnt walk or talk, so she sits allot .. her mom has made many beautiful things in her bedroom, as well as her sisters and her dad in her living room, sits a rocking chair.. where there is a pillow.. which was made by her niece. / on it: O Lord, How majestic is thy name in all the earth .. from the Psalms. the butterfly made of glass is made by her sister.. and this letter for Jenny is made by her other sister. the dress is from my niece Elizabeth, and again. that rocking chair has been here since I can remember back some 36 years. I can keep naming the things that has surrounded her all of her life.. but most of all , she is truly loved and she is Jenny , and there is no one like her.
