  • Of course we do not know on this first day of the new year what it has in store for us. It may be a pretty tough year for some of us. But we do know one thing: it will lead us again to spring and sunshine up here in the northern hemisphere. And I am looking forward to it! / Thank you all ever so much for your good wishes! I wish you all a Happy New Year too, full of inspiration and sunshine, with good light on all your paths! Perhaps even on some beautiful lanes like this beechtree one near Maartensdijk. Near Maartensdijk, 7th May 2008, 7.31 am / Nikon D80, Nikkor 18-200 mm at 36 mm / F 8, 1/30, ISO 200

  • This Ephemeral Healing Painting depicts the first version of the myth of nature which embraces the entity of Ra. In the myth an egg was laid upon this mound by a celestial bird. The egg contained Ra. In the original version of this variant, the egg is laid by a cosmic goose. However, after the rise of the cult of Thoth, the egg was said to have been a gift from Thoth, and laid by an Ibis, the bird with which he was associated. There is a wonderful gathering present in this painting, which is accentuated by the richness of cloth and movement. / I would suggest you look into the beliefs of The Egyptians, especially their diet. They believed certain foods were not fit for human consumption. This could be a very important revelation for you. Please investigate it if you can find the time. You have been placed on our healing list and we shall think of you daily! If you wish me to send this painting to you by email please let me / know.

  • View other work from this series Dangars Lagoon, Uralla, New South Wales, Australia. After the hottest summer in many years and now months without rain, I was devasted yesterday to find that the Lagoon is now bone dry. I walked right through the middle of it. The water is gone and so is the wildlife. Bring on the rain! Best viewed LARGE

  • The site is a pimple and I’m it’s ProAtiv. The site is filled with politician and whores. I look at them from above as the scream for help, for pity. I let them drown. / The Watchmen, DC.

  • Using a tripod and the available light from the campfire and a lantern, I had some fun zooming my 24-105mm lens during a several-second exposure. Interesting effect, eh?!

  • Hi my dear friends from RedBubble, Missed you all! Just got back to Melbourne today after a month spent in USA and Canada. Had a marvellous month away and have 100’s of photos to sort through before I post. Just wanted to say hi and look forward to catching up with you all and looking at work that I missed when I was away. Love Anthea Self Portrait taken on 14 May 2009 in Colorado

  • This sculpture captured my attention by its massive size and the energy…these two were truly dancing over Denver… 12 May 2009

  • My niece Olivia and I were thrilled to meet a friendly fox on our journey up Pikes Peak. 9 May 2009

  • My niece Matilda Slade is Jeremy’s youngest daughter. Matilda is two years old. She is such a confident, outgoing, direct and honest little character. She would come in the morning to see me… ‘Good Morning Aunty Annie…’ I bathed her and pushed her on her swing and she was not afraid to tell her mother and I when she felt I had taken too many photos of her lol. Her honesty and forthright approach was endearing – I get the feeling that one will always know where they stand with her. On the first day meeting her …we were singing songs from sound of music and Matilda (naked) and Lily were jumping all over me…a memory etched forever in my mind. 3 May 2009

  • Stanley Park Gardens, Vancouver On my first full day in Vancouver I took a bus tour around the city. I can see why this city has been voted the Most liveable city in the world…it is such a beautiful city – water and mountain ranges surround the city and from every street there is a magnificent view. I stopped off in Stanley Park to take a horse and buggy tour around the park…it was a cold day but rugged up in a blanket and under the splatter of raindrops I saw the wonderful sites of Vancouver from the buggy. I came upon this garden in the centre of the park. It was sooooooooo pretty. 18 May 2009

  • Featured in the Two Being Group on the 2-7-09. It looks like Eagle is saying… ‘Tell someone who cares.’ As she just keeps talking. This is a more humourous shot and belongs to my ‘Beautiful Woman Beautiful Bird’ series…I uploaded a couple of weeks ago. The day that I visited Grouse Mountain…there was a snowstorm and hail and rain and I went out searching for the two bears which I found. After the snow storm had cleared I was on my way back to the lodge and came upon this woman and bald eagle. I had never been so close to a bird of prey before and I was captivated by them both and how close they were. 20 May 2009, Grouse Mountain, Vancouver

  • Yosemite Falls was shaped like a heart…but I see hearts everywhere in Nature. I have never seen so many beautiful waterfalls in one place in my life time.

  • A magnificent scene in Yosemite…
