A digital highlight of our love.. I believe it has sort of universal appeal, but, then, I am biased. As we get older, we just sometimes sit like this and watch the world go by tranquilly..

This image was captured on the beach of the east coast of Vancouver Island, Canada, very close to my home. Bald eagles are thriving here. Frequently on my way to work I can count 10 to 15 birds. This one posed very nicely for me. Captured with a Nikon D300, Nikkor 600 mm f4 lens with 1:4 teleconverter (840 mm), ISO 400, f6.3, 1/640s. Cropped, color corrected, and sharpened in PS CS4.
Here’s another image taken from yesterday’s photo expedition,,, I love the colours of autumn on the Mornington Peninsula so I just can’t help but try and capture it..
Met the wonderful Deepbluwater in LA, and not only did she organize this whole shoot in my, ‘dream home’ as far as interior design goes, but also modeled for me in the most perfect of ways. Huge thank you for making this concept come alive in such a perfectly designed environment and for such an amazing day! Heartfelt thanks!
/ / / Does anyone else find the beauty of this woman too much to bear – or is it just me! This woman is full of grace inside and out, she is real woman both in her inner and outer beauty. A giving and beautiful soul with a voice to match and you may know her as RavenSoul Thank you Vonne for the most amazing day shooting and allowing me to produce art with you! You are both timeless and ageless here!
I was driving along the waterfront this evening and I saw about 10 eagles on the beach munching on some fish that washed ashore. The waterfront in Port Hardy, BC on the northern tip of Vancouver Island. Naturally I had to stop and check it out..got a few nice shots and this was one. Edited with Photoshop and ACDSee programs. / Thanks always for viewing!! :) /
I captured this image of a mature bald eagle in a powerful flight, and calling loudly to its mate, on an early July morning. The scene was riveting for its raw power, and iconic presence. To hear what this might have sounded like, click here Captured with a Nikon D300, Nikkor f4 AF-S 600 mm lens and 1.4 teleconverter on a Gitzo monopod, ISO 320, f10, -0.33, 1/640s at Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada.

Gaia (or Gaea) is the elemental earth goddess in Greek mythology. She is the primal embodiment of earth and her name literally means Earth or Land in ancient Greek. She is considered a Mother Goddess or Great Goddess in the Greek pantheon. She is often depicted as a mature buxom woman. Original artwork measures 12.5×19 inches and is created with mixed media on dark green textured Strathmore paper.
