This is my 12 year old puppy Mattie. Isn’t she beautiful? She is my life, she is my muse. I’m downloading many photos of Mattie in hopes of raising money. She recently passed away after fighting liver cancer. She fought the horrible disease for 2 months with chemotherapy, but in the end it took her life. The last chemo session, she looked at me and softly said she was tired. So, I took her home and made a bed on the floor for the 2 of us and I held her through the night until she passed away in my arms the next morning. She is missed every second of every day, but she will live on forever in the hearts of everyone she met and new. So every t-shirt and piece of artwork I sell will go to paying off her final $10,000 of doctor bills. I love you my perfect angel.

This is my parents Australian Shepherd Mattie. She can be dumb as a brick sometimes, but she’s so cute, you can’t help but lover her.

Oh Mattie was a little lady she came from North Virginia. / She left her family moved up North to start a new beginning. / She met a man and they got married and started a small family! / They moved in to a nice white house that was always Mattie’s dream! / They worked real hard to make a better life so their kids would have one too! / Oh Mattie had a heart of gold she took me in her life, and treated me with love just like I was her son! / She had a favorite passion out by the white garage. / They came in fancy colors from pink to orange and bright red and even little spotted one’s Mattie had them all! / Oh Mattie loved roses more than anyone I knew, it was the passion that she had for them… that she passed on to everyone. / We worked out in the back yard trimming all the little vines, getting scratched and cuts as we laughed a lot and talked about all her favorite ones ! / And then when we were finished, she would cut some for her table. / Oh Mattie had a son he was my very best friend and her little daughter what can I say was my little sister too! / Mattie had a special family that was warm and full of life,and everything that they were… was because of Matties love. / Matties husband was supportive he loved her like no other. and Mattie loved him just as much… he was her whole life too! / But outside of Matties family her roses were her love! / Mattie taught me many things in life as we cut those pretty roses. / She showed me how to be a man and love life’s simple things! / Oh Mattie had a special wit almost for everything, she would tell a joke I’d laugh out loud and then we’d cut more roses! / So as I take these photographs of all these special flowers and my camera clicks away, I always think of Mattie its as if she’s by my side. / And when I see her special flower thats when I feel a tear because Mattie passed away and I cried and cried and cried! / I never got to say to her “good bye my dear sweet friend”! I’ll remember you until the day I die….. to me you meant so much. /

Matty loves to chase things that are thrown. If you go outside, she’ll drop a toy at your feet and wait for you to throw it. Here, she’s getting her daily excercise of chasing a frisbee across the front yard at my parents house.
