Yamaoka Tessyu – Kendo Special thanks to theyellowfury / for helping me with this project. 1836 – 1888, Famous Samurai warrioir, and master of Kenjutsu (kendo) – he developed his own style of combat known as “no-sword” the point in which a samurai realizes that there is no-enemy and that the purity of the style is all that is needed.

Check this out!! i’ve got lil Tim in me even as a kid!!! lolz!!! / / Just kidding!! hehehehe… i don’t recall having an inner monster as a kid.. i do talk to imaginary friend in my head tho.. but only when i’m bored. hehehe… and nooooo, i was no ninja.. i was made to wear this gear for fun.. ahahaha… i did learn Tae Kwon Do as back in elementary school days though.. but i stopped just before a black belt.. (find it a waste of money and i got sick of going to school on mondays with aching limbs..) i was made to learn TKD because i was a quiet kid. but nope, TKD didn’t help make me more sociable. if anything i stayed anti-social all da way till late teens.. lolz… i do miss sparing though.. it’s like the only time i can punch and kick a person all i can and not get charged~ rofl!! Taiji (太极拳) (Also Known as Tai Chi) on the Bund in Shanghai’s Waitan area, with the sunrise over Pudong’s Lujiazui area. tai chi theory and practice evolved in agreement with many of the principles of Chinese philosophy including both Taoism and Confucianism. Tai chi training first and foremost involves learning solo routines, known as forms (套路 taolu). While the image of tai chi chuan in popular culture is typified by exceedingly slow movement, many tai chi styles (including the three most popular, Yang, Wu and Chen) have secondary forms of a faster pace. A photograph of my own book of Budo and given a vintage look to represent the age of Budo which dates back hundreds of years. The book of Budo represents the Martial way of life. Portraying life as a path that should be walked.. Not rushed. Helping me to realise that life is not about how fast we can reach the top of the mountain. But how well i can absorb the beauty of the path that takes me there.
