Calm sunset on Maroochy River, from Godfreys Rocks. Maroochydore Queensland, Australia.
Same sunset as previous but a different angle.

This is a photo taken at a really magical place in Tanawah – Sunshine coast – where my cousin got married on the week end – this was in my traditional country. I also think that it is a bit Blair witch project – even though I did not really like the film.

Maroochy River Bridge and early morning reflections. Maroochydore, Qld. Australia. / These bridges upset my sense of balance. When they built the second bridge, they didn’t put the horizontal cross bar between the pylons, like the first bridge, consequently, to me, it always looks lopsided.

We arrived at the Sunshine Coast on Friday afternoon last week (April 3). The coast had received up to 500mm of rain (what hit the NSW coast came up our way) and the sea was brown as far as the eye could see with good sized waves. Very dramatic sea and sky. Quite a bit of erosion at Maroochydore beach once again. Mt Coolum in the distance. No cropping, straight out of camera.

This was a series of shots I took from my apartment on the Maroochy river. Which was hard! Damn mornings.
This was originally planned to an un-edited photograph, until I got bored and started playing in GIMP. Basically, I just colourized the image, and added a Centre Highlight script to give the vignette edges.
