  • In my opinion, my dad had pretty crap taste in music – and he certainly felt the same about mine. He often took pleasure in mocking me about my taste in modern ‘druggie’ music; he would go on and on how people today in bands looked like they were homeless…and why can’t boys in bands cut there hair and wear a suit! So, when when my old man suddenly died recently, I found music a double edge sword in the fact that I needed it to console my shatertted self …...and at the same time I could just imagine him over my shoulder, teasing me and telling me what real music was! And I couldn’t bear the fact he was never going to be here again to taunt me about our differences.

  • ©Seth F.Weaver,Sr.10/18/06 Markers and washes. I like this picture because it calls out to the printmaker in me simple yet dramatic. Other size prints and products featuring this design are available at www.artwanted.com/sethweaver. Thanks for looking and commenting.

  • Another piece from “The Big Coat.” This was done a few years ago. (Back when I was in my markers, ink, and anything else I can get my hands on phase). It’s not one of my absolute favorites, but I don’t hate it either. It’s sort of like plain old vanilla ice cream to me, it’s tastes fine, I’m not going to spit it out, but it would taste a heck of a lot better if it were chocolate.

  • An attempt at adding a bit of art nouveau to my own style in this steampunk bust study of my character, Skogul. Done in ink and prismacolor marker with some prismacolor pencil touches on bristol.

  • This is an older piece from way back in my “I’M GOING TO USE MARKERS ON EACH AND EVERYTHING I MAKE AND THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT SUCKA!” phase. (It’s kind of a lame phase, I know…shut up.) I have absolutely no idea what supposed to be going on it. Maybe it’s also from my “I’M GOING TO DRAW COMPLETE AND TOTAL NONSENSE AND THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT SUCKA!” phase? I dunno. You know what? Just turn your back to me and pretend that I’m not even here. If I could do it to myself, I would.

  • A view down Strathaird from Cill Chroisd Church with a typical Celtic Cross headstone!

  • There is something surreal and comforting about sunrise in a cemetery. Grave markers have a distinctly remarkable appearance in the light of a new day. The symbols of faith and endurance and time everlasting create a scene unlike any other among the dew-laden grass. LavenderMoon~

  • Inspired by Miyazaki’s NoFace and hunchbacked ghost-y things worldwide. Try hugging him, it’s to die for.

  • I created this drawing with art markers and a micro black drawing marker. Any proceeds made from the sale of this art on RB will be donated to The Philadelphia Mission. http://www.philadelphia33.org/ This story goes with the drawing. Thanks for looking! “The Creation Of The Horse” Rise up from the dust and greet Me, Magestic Horse. I created you and gave you beauty, speed, strength, loyalty, and bravery in battle as some of your characteristics. You will be a friend and helper of man. You will be a friend to those who will ride you for the sheer joy of feeling the wind against their faces. You will carry many into battle. You will help the physically and mentally challenged with your brave kindness. You are clothed in beauty and nobility. I AM… I AM, and I created you. You will have the honor and the priviledge of carrying “The Lamb Of God” when He returns to defeat His enemies. You will be called “The Horse.” Here is also a beautiful verse from Job 39: 19- 25… Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder? Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible. He paweth in the valley and rejoiceth in his strength; he goeth on to meet the armed men. He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword. The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield. He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage; neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet. He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
