A contest made me start thinking about opposites that work together or compliment each other and that is how I came up with this design. I know I can think evil thoughts and they usually start with “Wouldn’t it be funny if I ….”; however, that urge for mischief is usually squashed by the good side of me. I admit though, the good side doesn’t always win! :) LOL

This year, 2009, marks the 251st birthday of Sambro Lighthouse in Sambro, NS Canada. This lighthouse is the oldest working lighthouse in North America. My Husband and I went on a tour of Sambro Island on the 250th anniversary. The atmosphere on the island is quite something, there is a certain feeling in the air that is hard to describe… When I captured this shot we were actually on a boat steaming away from the island. It always pays to look back one more time!
