On a very rainy day, in a very rainy city… Sir Cricket von Marionette decided to have his portrait taken. You see, Sir Cricket had a ladyfriend whom he bestowed the utmost admiration upon. One could even say he prized her esteemed company beyond all other crickets in that drizzly town. Perhaps even in the entire land, though Sir Cricket von Marionette was not one to go galavanting too far beyond the streets of his beloved home. *NOTICE** / To read the story in it’s entirety… please click here
This is my best friend from 6th and 7th grade, Markie. I am absolutely in love with the results from the shoot, and so is she! To see all the images from this shoot, please go here

Inspired by the song of the same name by Sonata Arctica “Did I not make it clear? / This debate is over / I will never part from this puppet, my son…” With hungry eyes I followed them all night / The blind master and the puppet he had made / “No, sir, to sell is not my will!” / The doll is mine, even if I have to kill… So it shall be… if this is what it takes / “Greed is truly blinder than me…” / “Heart of gold is what you wish for?” / “So, this little boy… wants to be… a puppet, for real…” Lyrics by Tony Kakko

A pseudo-self portrait. The assignment started out as a character study and turned into, well, this.
Part of a series faithfully depicting Pelham Puppets. Pelham puppets used with kind permission of David Leech. Original – acrylic on canvas, 20” x 8”
From a photograph of papier-mâché marionettes hanging from the ceiling in a shop.
just a joke
acrylic painting on drawing-paper for acrylic. 15.7×11.8 inch at first I only saw a face, followed by an arm, then as a whole thing a marionette. In the middle, at the white part, I detected / the blurred view of a Ladys back which seems to be captured in a moving something. On the right hand side a man – at free fall. / Presumably you have to zoom in to see it. ALL my abstract works of art are mostley done intuitively; I am affected and inspired by music; no painting is done without music; music is inalienable. see my profile.. this work was result with this songs: / WHO AM I? Lolita
