Islamorada Key, Florida USA This image is of an elder man that lives up the gulf from me a little.. I happen to have caught him on his way in from a hard day fishing. We are in a ‘no wake zone’ so I was blessed with the time to to set this shot up! He is very wise, kind and caring. He has a saying that he says very often, bearing in mind he has made his life solely from the sea. Corio Bay, Eastern Beach – Geelong. / I had me some time to stop for a few quick shots on the way to work this morning. Lucky to have such a clean surface on the water, the wind really chopped it up by this arvo. / I was particularly drawn by the criss-crossing of the wires and how they reflected on the water. For the record, it’s a HDR comp.

Arlington West is an ongoing display of the casualties in Iraq on East Beach in Santa Barbara, to protest against the war in Iraq, and increase the public awareness regarding the military and political fallout of staying there. Each Sunday morning thousands of crosses, as the number of the fallen, for that day, are placed in the sand and volunteers are providing the public with up to the moment information on casualties plus individual stories on the fallen. This image was taken at memorial day 2007 as a tribute and memorial and as a cry for peace…Eyal Nahmias

This colony of blue throated ascidians are marine creatures that live attached to a pylon under the Busselton Jetty. Scuba diving and photography often make some wonderful images. Water and cameras however do not mix so well, which is where the art of underwater photography becomes difficult.

A juvenile male Elephant Seal is looking backwards at the photographer (me) Image was taken at San Semion California. This young male was a part of a group that had at least 500 Elephant Seals. The pacific coast is home for this wonderful mammals and San Semion has several locations where they are protected. This was taken away from the tourist location, and on a streach of the beach where no people can go. distance was about 5 feet away from the animal. 50% of all proceeds from the sale of this image will be donated to the Marine Conservation Organization Consider my other images of Elephant Seals /
