  • A simple picture (the title says it all) but perhaps not without charm….taken at low tide at Trebarwith Strand, North Cornwall on a Casio QV-3000EX compact and colour balance, brightness etc tweaked in Serif PhotoPlus.

  • I tried for the almost vision- like motion of the Beluga this image appeared in an online Journal called Qaartsiluni

  • Two shots of the same bird, both pretty good; couldn’t decide which one to post, so put up both of them. Some folks like vertical format and some prefer horizontal, so hopefully this will please everyone. This guy was drawing quite a gaggle of onlookers one fine day at the St. Petersburg municipal pier. / / Vertical photo of the same bird: /

  • In Baja again, but this time, I got to touch a whale. My sister did also. This to me, shows a perfect example of what we need to protect, or they will eventually go extinct. It is a gray whale, and this to me says, Reach out and Touch the World / This would also make a perfect card.

  • Shot on film over a coral “bommy” in the ocean off Papua New Guinea. I like the painting – like texture and tones of the water and if you gaze or meditate a little on the water (with your eyes open), the mermaids appear…make the picture big first..!!! How many do you see??? / Enjoy..

  • Pair of seagulls on a rock in the Holland Harbor… Holland, Michigan.

  • A Jellyfish shining bright in the darkest depths

  • Marina in the October moonlight. Image redone in HDR. /

  • Acrylic used with watercolor on rough watercolor paper. Re-uploaded with correct pixel size for cards.

  • Grey Nurse Sharks hang out off the NSW coast. Grey Nurse Sharks are known as Raggy Tooth Sharks in South Africa and Sand Tiger Sharks in the US. They are endangered in Australia, particularly in New South Wales waters yet the government has only made a half hearted attempts to protect the species. SAY NO TO SHARK FIN SOUP! Walk out of restaurants that serve Shark Fin soup and let them know why! This shot also features in one of my calendar’s

  • Ralph the Australian Sea Lion. / Sea Lions are Pinnipeds that is the same family as Seals and Walrus, but not exactly the same. / They are also mammals. / This SeaLion is endemic to Australia, that is it is only found in Australia. They are particularly found in South Australia and Western Australia. / As you can see they are very sociable and very curious. This shot also features in one of my calendar’s

  • 25/01/09 Deepie got canned today, Sea’s were up, blue outside but green inside the heads and viz down to 2 metres, still got wet, only dive of the weekend…put a macro lens on (Sigma 50mm) and had to get very close (and personal) to get this Anemone shot. Here is a link to an image called Almost Erotic thats similar but not exactly the same. Fire (this one) has minimal processing other than sharpening and colour balancing where as Almost Erotic has had a bit more processing and is now an image from a photograph rather than being a true photograph. Rock on calmer sea’s next weekend..gagging for some wide angle…. This shot also features in one of my calendar’s

  • 3 panels / 2×15 x 30cm / 1 x 20×30cm / acrylic on canvas

  • Classic Mercury outboard engine – Chromed!!!

  • The perfect wave the perfect beach the perfect day Crystal Cove California USA / Photo taken by Canon IXUS

  • Mixed-Media on Rag / (unfortunately some cropping has occurred)

  • Dingy moored in the crystal clear waters of Bonaire Island. Remnants of an old jetty are clear to see and the rusting red piers contrast with the cool clear aqua colours of the water.
