Early morning sunrises in marinas will often yield neat water reflections. The cloud and contrails made a complex sky. I set the camera on the deck for the three exposures used for the HDR image.

Islamorada, Florida USA This is the view from my top deck off of my bedroom. I open my eyes to this, amen. Hard work but it is now to be enjoyed! I sit up here in the mornings and play with y’all, have my iced coffee, play with my bird and new baby sugar glider (Taz). But! Best of all, I wave to all of the great fisherman that have to come and bait up in the mornings. The lot we choose has an inlet that points East and West, as shown here at my bedroom looking EAST towards US1 which is where the power pole and marina is. Then, the main inlet runs NORTH and SOUTH into the Atlantic Ocean and/or the Gulf of Mexico. Choice is yours at the end of the inlet, go left or right. The fisherman have to come down our channel and turn by my house to go to the marina to get what they need for the day… gas, oil, bait, their helpers. I run errands by going down this channel to US1, docking my boat and off I go. I rarely leave in my truck unless its to hit the road to work. You really don’t need a car here. Can get literally everywhere by boat and I prefer that, as do most all Islanders or we wouldn’t be here! / ______ / / / ______ / All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. Taken on the Lake of Two Mountains, Quebec in the village of Oka on Monday June 9/08. This is just past the public docks and ferry system looking towards the west at the marina. The sun was just starting to descend and cast a rosy glow on the water.
