Actually this is a “play on words”. This is our cat, Gracie, who was found by my grandson. She had been abandoned on his other grandparents property and was found drenching wet and starving. Knowing that my previous cat, Tally had died, my grandson called to tell me he had found a new cat for me. I considered this a God moment because I was missing Tally who had been with us for 17 years. We brought Gracie back to our home and for days she would sleep by her food and water dishes. She was afraid to be held and cried each time we tried to hold her. She is now 4 years old and so precious to me. She will let my husband and myself pet her, but is still afraid of being held on our lap. She and our other adopted cat, Molly, have become friends. However, they each have their own place in our home. They both bring much joy and we are happy to provide them a safe haven.
