The centre butterflies symbolize the soul growing and transforming and protected by unicorns (symbolizing magic, innocence and myth). Guardian angels watch over the transformation night and day. This is just one of my many mandalas. They are created from meditation and often paint themselves – I just wield the brush! ORIGINAL $300 plus postage and handling This mandala was created after a big breathwork meditation in which I felt the spirits of my grandmothers and greatgrandmothers all the way back to prehistory reach out to me. It was a time of crisis for me and to feel the essence of my maternal history with me, I was able to pass through and come out the other side relatively whole. The mandala symbolizes the presence of my foremothers all the way back to prehistory. The horses symbolize power and freedom. The all seeing eye is open to the wisdom of the past and the challenges and opportunities of the future. The colours are the colours of the earth, the sky, the wind and the rain. Can’t remember what type – walked into the artshop and ran my fingers over the surface until I found one I liked, with the gsm to match. The picture won the Jean Eales Memorial Prize, three firsts in various divisions and best in show. The four alpacas are from my friends farm and are as individualistic as the picture portrays. The big black one at the front, Zack, has covered me with green slime on more than one occasion! The Maiden, The Mother and The Crone From the original acrylic on 100cm x 100cm canvas. Metallic and glitter overlays… I started this mandala the week before one of my close girl friends was diagnosed with lung cancer and finished four months later – the week after she died. It was a hugely cathartic work and the three phases of the goddess reflect the changes in me over the years. I have been the warrior maiden; mothered my child and have entered into the spiritual crone phase of my life… This is a work in progress. Despite winning a number of awards and commendations, this picture has never been for sale – it is one of the first illustrations I did and hangs above my bed because I just love it so much! The moral of this picture is that when the last of our hope leaves this world, all that will be left will be dull and lifeless. The butterflies symbolise flight and transformation. I woke up one morning and came out into the kitchen just after I had finished this work and the rainbow was spot on the stone of destiny! It was goosepimple stuff, I tell you! The spirits walked my house that morning! These big powerful mandalas are connections… connections with spirit, connections with others, connections with myself. From the original mandala, acrylic with metallic overlays ORIGINAL $850 plus P&H I was in a 3 hour breathwork therapy session (yeah, I do a lot of those LOL) and on the way into the trance, these chinese dragons appeared and told me they were there to protect and help me… At the end, coming out, all I saw was the most incredible white lotus… it filled my heart and my head and even now, when I look at this mandala, I am at complete peace. The simplicity of the design symbolises the simplicity of our natures – if we just Let Go and Go With The Flow and TRUST that it will be all OK and learn to BREATHE with it, then we will find a kind of peace within us all. Learning to live in the present moment is one of my personal quests! This is a very powerful meditation mandala. The original is for sale… Enjoy:)

ORIGINAL $2,800 plus postage and handling OK – I will try to keep this brief, but there will end up being a journal entry about dreaming sometime! LOL! Short version? Rolled over in bed one morning, yawned, opened my eyes and there standing at the side of my bed is this beautiful medicine woman with a wolf. “Paint this”, she said and the image was there in my mind. I was still working on the otters and seals celtic crosses and so had to finish them off. While I was doing that, the original vision morphed into the one you see before you. This mandala painted itself. The big powerful ones do. There is so much power in this painting that when I finished it and sat back to look at it, I cried. They were tears of gratitude and thanks. This is my gift to all for the New Year… Thank You Great Spirit for the gift that runs through me. Thank You for the joy it brings, for the power it bestows, for the healing… Thank You. I am blessed beyond all imagining. / Thank You. I am grateful for every breath I take, for all that I am, for all that I have. / I Thank You… From the campfire burning in the centre… / The four medicine women stand in the four directions. East with Eagle, South with Coyote, West with Bear, North with Buffalo. The hand prints to each side have the animals paw/talon prints overlaid – we are all one! Beneath each are the symbols I saw – Golden Door to the East, Talking Stick to the South, Drum to the West, Sacred Pipe to the North. The moons in their phases… / The Red Road encircling… The arrows leading out to golden bows… The Blue Road encompassing it all… The original is one metre square canvas gallery wrap, acrylic with metallic overlay.

Having stupidly broken my toe on Monday (the first broken bone ever), and being unable to take pain meds I just feel like crap. So I paint. This is for my sons girlfriends 18th Birthday and the symbology is clear (well, to me anyway) – but you can add your interpretations please:) Its also based in the song that I played a lot: INXS – Afterglow: “Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow / Heal me from all this sorrow / As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes / Now I’m living in your afterglow…” reproduced in part all credit and copyright of these lyrics belong to INXS

After Printz passed away quietly last week, I had a lot of empty time in my head and my home in which to quietly mourn his passing. But there was a lot to celebrate too – to give “grace” for… AMAZING GRACE The legend has it that Little Swan flew through the Dreamtime looking for the entry point to the future in her first flight alone. “As Swan looked high above Sacred Mountain, she saw the biggest swirling black hole she had ever seen. Dragonfly came flying by and Sawan stopped him to ask about the black hole. Dragonfly said, “Swan, that is the doorway to the other planes of imagination. I have been guardian of illusion for many, many moons. My new camera is a Canon SX1-IS “point and shoot”. LMAO! / This camera does more than a comparative entry level DSLR with the added benefit of fitting in my handbag. It is one of the most extraordinary cameras I have ever had the privelege of owning! A young friend of my son asked me if I would take some photos of her because she wanted to explore the world of modelling. I thought “why not?” I want to explore my camera and add to my knowledge and talents. After a 2 hr shoot, I ended up with a lot of pics, a lot of experience, a belly sore with laughter at some of the antics we got up to and some of the most exquisite photos I have taken to date, even compared to my awdigitaldreams portfolio. Inward lie / the monsters… / My head is filled to bursting / with demons / and I armed only / with my pitiful belief / stand forth / not bravely / to slay them… / There is only my mind / it creates all my reality / and surreality / and the monsters / and demons / are me / mine / my creation… Am I the dreamer or the dreamed? One of the worst things about mental illness is the belief from other people that because it is not manifested outwardly, physically or hideously, that it doesnt exist. For more years than I care to remember I have dwelled in the same soul with monsters who would devour me whole and yet I am here, creating from the pain and the love that fill my heart to bursting. I am blessed in that I know that the darkness, the monsters – they are all part of me, and somehow we all have to live together in this body I call mine. Mandalas are the most powerful healing tool I have EVER used in my entire life. They integrate me step by step, stage by stage, monster by monster.
