Original in Private Collection Watercolor on Arches 140lb Hot Press paper / 18×19 1/2 Interpretation of a busy, rainy street scene I shot in Chicago many years ago. I always wanted to paint this and after playing with the composition finally put brush to paper. It was a challenge to portray the light of a rainy day and the relfections on the cobbled walk but this turned into one of my favorites.
