  • Bamboo Walker
    by Glenn Tuazon

    US$4.66–US$106.40

The mantis finally hatched. I wasn’t home when it happened, but there were hundreds crawling around on my ceiling. I used a bamboo skewer to collect them. I use these bugs to protect my pumpkins from bugs instead of insecticides. Next time I will use a butterfly container made of mesh. Took my three hours to get them all outside… and still found some more the next day crawling around on plants, chairs, ceiling, on the lamp shade… all in a pose to catch a bug. If you would like to get some eggs.. they are about 5 dollars each.. but hatch in june… so they probably won’t be available again till Janurary. http://www.butterflyplace-ma.com/shopping.htm from Massachusettes / http://www.tcs-hydroponics.com/doc/bugs.htm from Missouri / http://www.livemantis.com/

  • My mini series

  • Another one down, like 15 to go, lol. One of the reasons i have been so absent. i feel bad, but i am really trying to get this book done. One drawing takes forever, getting the composition can take days, or longer, then starting the sketch. i started this in pencil on 2 May, 2009. Finished in pencil & started in Prisma colored pencils on 9 May (my brother Chris’ birthday), & just finished today, 22 May (my Dad’s birthday). i will take a slight break & hopefully have time to come around. Really missing you all, but i gotta keep cracking the whip, really hoping to get this book completed.
