Though this bird house is actually occupied at the present time by chickadees, this male Northern cardinal paid a visit to their home and sang his heart out on top of their roof. I thought of the phrase, “Lord of the Manor,” when I witnessed Mr. Redbird perched atop the little red house (which was a gift to me from my grandson, a lovely find he came across in a National Geographic catalog and which he thought Mammy would love. I do and so do the chickadees!)

Anna ryder-richardson has taken over manor house wildlife park in tenby wales and although in very early planning stages it was lovely to walk amongst the wallabys where they would come over to sniff your hands and rub the bellies of these beautiful lemurs, next year planninng will be complete and i cant wait these animals are now getting a great life.

Location: Elk Grove California / Technique: HDR While editing “Rose Garden” My Commander and Chief (Wife) informed me that the clouds I have been waiting for just creeped up from the delta. Couldnt wait to go to a certain location so i just shot the House instead.
