Three Birds Flying Once in a dream there came to me / Three birds flying, one, two, three. / The first was dark as water on a stone. / The second shone bright as sunlight on a stone, / And the third was gray as a stone, as a stone. / I rode with them as they flew on, / But when I woke the dream was gone. / I set it down on paper and the words are there. I saw this poem somewhere, it was written by a child. Yet i feel it captures the mood so well here. Enjoy.

While photographing one of my favorite spots (puddles in the middle school parking lot) I spotted a bit of litter a few yards from me. Someone had improperly disposed of their water bottle, and I reaped the benefits. I’m not really sure what made me think of a concept like this… I guess I was just in a funny mood!
