One day they will learn to take photo’s…..
Recently we did a test shoot for two really funny and crazy guys who also happen to make music together, Jase and Tom after their manager aeris saw my stuff on RedBubble and decided I am shit hot at what I do. (I’m working on the modesty bit, I swear.) Anyway they really really didn’t want to do a photo shoot in a smelly, public, and damp mens’ toilet so naturally I nagged at them until they relented. Then the first thing their manager said upon viewing this image was “That one’s for RedBubble!” So here it is.
You can always tell a man by his hands…they can be rough, tough and dirty…but if they are gentle enough to grace a rose, than you know you found a winner! Pentax K10D A beautiful poem written by Dalton Sayre / Clasped in hands so strong / Petals bright and sweet / In contrast to the mines / So dark and full of heat This blessing Gaia gives / To those who take time out / To stop and smell the roses / And love instead of shout So hear the plea I offer up / To cloud and sky above / As I kneel on Mother Earth / As gentle as a dove I thank you for your bounty / And all that you provide / For roses blooming up above / And the ore you keep inside I know how much you care for us / Although you bear our scars / For unto us doth spill the light / Of sun and moon and stars

An intrigued Black Lahu elder, and his amused friend, looks at his portrait for the first time. This picture was taken on film in 1979 in a remote village far from a road in Mae Hong Son province in Thailand. The old man had not only never seen a photograph before, he had never been to a town, ridden in a car or seen a westerner. He asked me if I had come from the moon, as he had seen planes fly overhead.
This is another hand drawn piece I did using graphite…......

This guy was washing himself by getting a bucket of water out of a well and dump it over himself. After I observed him for a while I went over, gave him a small donation for being my model and asked him to continue wash himself. I find the photo quite interesting..
