I wrote this in responce to a challenge I was sent. It was to write, or produce some sort of art work detailing blood. I was thinking on the bus going to town about it, and this little thing popped into my head. It may not be as good as the rest of mine, because I never really work well writing something specifically (I usually just let it flow.) But here you are, straigt from the horses mouth.

Experimental Photography and Editing / A group dedicated to experimental photography, processing and editing. A very BIG THANKYOU to GROUP monitors for choosing this image….... .........”James Macready-Bryan will forever be the face of the drunken violence on Melbourne’s streets. • Rippleless waters - Mankinds ripple on the environment
    by ein22

Skeletal frames, once submerged litter / Lay side by side with previously organic opposites

The river Torrens (well creek really) was one reed filled and teaming with life of fish, reptiles, insects and aquatic mammals. I walked past it a few hours ago and saw that it had been drained to puddles and minitaure ponds. I was told that this was all due to an increasing Algae problem affecting the waterways and it was drained overnight due to an electrical fault in the weir that opened and drained it in 2 hours. I caught the train afterwards and even full of loud obnoxious school kids I was so focused penning this down it never left me untill I was satisfied wth it. I cannot begin to explain how angry this has made me towards our government for poor enviromental choices and also towards my community that I feel do shit all towards the enviroment. A half arsed attempt at recycling is not enough Australia!

  • Worthless Race
    by Mikyle

Feeding, breathing, multiplying. / Existing, not living

I wrote this poem a while ago, after I had had enough of being continuously disappointed in the human race. Harsh? I know. Hard hitting? For me, well yes. And, although I have now altered my perspective and changed my attitude toward human beings, (regarding them with love and respect) there are still times when my mind flits back to this poem and I am forced to face the facts and ask myself the painful question: Are we a worthless race?
