Most days we never get in each others way, today, it was almost everytime I had a shoot in focus. Im a slow focuser and had to stop and start again many times. This one in which he did sneak in, I didnt even know was there until I was going through them at home.

Inspired by fellow photographer and designer Jamie Sweetlove and his use of mundane objects and textures. Designed to go into my studio in large format. Shot on Nikon D200 + 18-70mm + full set of AICO extension tubes and a 50p. Then my own harsh manipulation concepts added. For those who have asked. No it is not meant to be sharp.

A photo I took with a light-template I designed. The actual result I was looking for is still under development, but with a little manipulation of shadow and color, this image turned out to have a life of its own.

This was a manual photograph I took in high school. I resurrected it when I found some old disks I thought I’d lost for good. We painted the photo paper with developer and it produced this awesome grunge effect. The enlargers were disgusting though, hence the dust. / Camera: Canon Rebel K2 EOS / Film: Ilford 400 / Paper: Ilford 400
