Taken tonight (19th November 2008) in the city of Mandurah at about 01:17 actually on the 20th.
she said if you could be here it would take 1000 times longer / to feel the stories that shine with your setting sun, / the reflection of light in your words, / your water brings me to safety / under your moon I can float all night long my nighttime is quiet / as is the rise and fall of your breath / when in your resting state you lay / and a myriad of dreams come somehow burning from within you know we don’t sleep until it’s time / you know we can’t hide until everything is out in the open she looks to the fallen photographs on the floor / life is held richly in our memories, someone once said / but what we see with our eyes open only scratches at surfaces / like your new moon awaking a promise / like the petals falling from a rose, fragile yet intriguingly beautiful / hinting at a desire to come we can’t say that there’s any blame / the ocean knows us better / she will wash the untold love to your shore / she will give us the salt water from tears / shed before the dawn of this spell / and we can hold the sorrow as something precious you know we don’t sleep until it’s time / you know we can’t hide until everything is out in the open
This scene caught my attention from two aspects, first the way the colours worked so well together, bright and clean and the other was the amazing different lines and shapes in such a samll area. / Mandurah Boat Marina Western Australia
Untouched because the Mandurah beaches are clear, pristine and unbelievably calm during the summer days. Captured at approximately 7am during a summer sunrise December 2008. MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /

This photo was taken last year (2008) in Mandurah in Western Australia and I have just decided to do something with it…
Mandurah and the sun is gone…... now the calm and then the night… bringing with it the uncertainity of life, the darkness and the start of new life.
experiment with long exposure time / taken at silver sands beach near Mandurah / nikon d80 / sigma 10-20 / 190sec @ f13, ISO 100 wavering above dreams and floating down the steps of time / into memories that were held / like the long slow breaths of the son of zeus / your waters lapped at the edge of an ocean / the colour faded away / and i heard the distant sounds of a voice i once knew in your ocean we swam / deep and flowing amongst the fathoms / surfacing in the bubbles, the void dropping away deep below / this remains untouchable / you’re untouchable yet with magnetism / i feel our worlds getting closer you sang a song, perseus find me / i’m lost, let your ocean find me your thoughts become a future that we all know can happen / as the seconds count away / i feel the music of thought reflected through me / reaching out with sonar / feeling your way in the lull of tide i roll over on my side again to put my arm around you / yet you are gone / the sound of waves crashing in the night / is all there is to bring me close to you now / the energy comes again encircling / and pulls me away to the otherworlds you sang a song, perseus find me / i’m lost, let your heart find me i’m floating yet i can see with my eyes closed / the mirror of the ocean is as solid as glass / reality plays its funny games with me / the disparity between worlds makes my heart turn inside out / do you want your dreams dangling on the end of a chain just out of reach / or your life being held under while you struggle for air to breathe / these worlds meld into blurred emotions / fluid fills my lungs / yet i continue to breathe come again, come and reach for me / let your ocean find me
A bushfire in Port Kennedy sends its plume of smoke across the setting sun giving the feeling of a live Aboriginal Flag flying in the sky. Very spiritual.
