the pose is based on a yoga position. the title is the Sanskrit name for the position – along with the English translation. this position is sometimes translated as “thunderbolt”.
Another experiment using the Painting with Light technique as explained by Peter Zentjens. Equipment used, included torch with narrow cardboard funnel and layer of tissue paper to diffuse excess light. / time: 15 seconds / Av: f8 / ISO: 80
It’s amazing when you have a smile on your face and you ask sweetly and politely whilst fluttering your eye lashes, how some people can simply say yes to a photo opportunity. It also helps being away on holidays where not many people know you and the model you find is more than happy to pose. : ) This is something a little different for me, and I’m still trying really hard to stay out of my comfort zone. : )
