September 2008 ...That Fish Is Back Again!!!!! :D / Everyone’s artwork looks fantastic and thank you so much for the honor!!! ....and the fish thanks you too… ;) Mixed Media, 20” x 20” A Fish Out Of Water There’s more ocean in fish than fish in the ocean… Nature is wise, but Mankind… just bumbling fools. Learn from the living, watch water in motion, Don’t waste your time staring at small stagnant pools. Fish are content to live their life in water, Water is after all their life’s element. There’s no need for them to be an “achiever,” Living, staying alive… that’s accomplishment. But there was one fish wanting something “better”, He wanted “achievement,” he wanted a “first.” He leapt out of water, fins in quick flutter, Taking fast to the sky… but soon died of thirst… / Poem by Peter. Yeeeeaaah….after a long day of chores, running around and my weekend cleaning…I began to log on to my favorite site…only to find, one of my newest works staring back at me…and let out a small yelp of joy…to myself! ;) / It’s strange almost to see my own work on the homepage…I always check out what works are featured; it’s a great way to find new artists to watch and I really enjoy the themes.
