  • House in the capital city of Malta, Valletta. Post processed in HDR. Took 3 bracketed photos. In Photomatix I processed the 3 pictures in HDR. Met these wonderful dogs and their owner down at our foreshore a couple of weeks back. I had always admired the Italian breed Bracco Italiano, but had never come across the Maltese variant before. Their loyalty to their loving master, and their exuberance in the shallow ebb tide was nicely challenging to capture in the last few moments before sunset. This was my first shoot out with my new lens. I have highlighted two images from the Bracco meeting, this one shot at 500mm, and “His Masters’ Voice”http://www.redbubble.com/people/rodeorose/art/4095674-2-his-masters-voice/ at 50mm showing the range of the powerful lens.
