It is the capital city of Malta, a small island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Within it are treasures built by the same Order and also museums. Valletta is a World Heritage City. It takes its name from the GrandMaster La Vallette who started the building of the city.

This was a monster Jelly fish, we see allot of these this time of year but this one realy stood out from the crowd. Taken close to Suzzies Pool, Cirkewwa, Malta.
Good Friday Procession, Gozo, sister island of main island Malta, in the Mediterranean Sea. Procession with statues depicting episodes from Jesus’s Passion are held on Good Friday in many towns and villages. Some processions date back to the times of the Knights of Malta, i.e. 16th century. The processions start at 3pm where the Crucifix is exposed in Churches for people to venerate Jesus’ hands, feet and his side. Eucharist is administered and after processions start, which would be around 5pm. It is solemn day for Malta, where most of the people is Roman Catholic. This procession with the statues of the Redeemer, i.e. Jesus who fell with the cross for 3 times, is from Victoria, the capital city of Gozo.
