  • Shopping with Mum
    by Philip Rogan

    US$5.98–US$136.80

Taken in Brussels city centre in 1997, I sat opposite this lovely shopping arcade and hunkered down trying to be all Lee Friedlander and stuff, cutting and intersecting shoppers with the odd car crossing the zebra. When I spotted this kid crossing with her Mom I saw that the roof of the mall was going to sit just above her head, I thought I’ll snap her just as it fits her like a crown or a halo. I was too early. I still love this photo for her almost unreadable face, tranquil, bored, insistent, content? I’m not sure but the girl shopping with the unseen formidable presence of her mother is one of my favourite photos.

    by Susan Zohn

    US$3.99–US$28.50

This was a waterfall I found in an outside mall and luckily for me I had my camera with me. It was quite busy so I had to take a photo fast but long enough to get some exposure. No tripod, but only a rock to steady the camera. Whew, it is great when it looks half way decent.
