FIRST TIME PUBLISHED Watch this />http://www.ingetjetadros.comWhen I looked outside my restaurant in Broome I saw two cowboyheads sitting on the tables outside and I had a strong urge to make some photo’s. I spook to the two men they where from Fitzroy Crossing. They where watching a crowd of Indeginous Aboriginal men and women ‘hanging’ outside in the Plaza. They where waiting for the local liquorshop to open, In Fitzroy is now a ‘ban’ on alcohol, they told me, so Fitzroy Crossing is now a ‘dry’ Community Miss. / Broome, Western Australia. / Today I received an email stating; CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMAGE ‘TYPAN’ is one of 55 images from the PEOPLE & PLANET International Photo Competition. to be published in the 2009 People&Planet; Social Justice & Enviroment Diary, which will be published this month in Australia (2009). / We thought that your image was incredible, and it won from a pool of OVER 1000 images from 316 photographers from around the World! / All funds raised by the People&Planet diary go to Australia’s small non profit organisations which are working to promote social-justice and environmental substainability around the world. / / watched 802 times 7-11-09

  • This magnificent male leopard was perched on a termite mound, barely 50 mtrs from a pair of male lions on a baby elephant kill in the Okavango Delta. They all knew one another was there. When the tension became too much, one of lions dragged the rest of the kill into a thicket to escape the prying eyes of the leopard. The leopard got up to get a better view and wait his chance to grab a few scraps. / Featured in FAUNA, FLORA, LANDSCAPES AND ARCHITECTURE OF SOUTH AFRICA, Indigenous to East & Southern Africa and Featured Only

  • It was getting a little late when this male cardinal came in to feed. As usual, he flew in deep in the pine tree to check out the feeder area before venturing out into the open. Along with the low light and the darkness in the pine tree, I decided to take this shot. I love the results, I love the exposure. /
